Oppo has quietly expanded its budget smartphone lineup with the launch of the Oppo A6c in China. Designed for users who prioritise long battery life, a large display, and dependable day-to-day performance, the new handset offers a familiar mix of practical features at an affordable price point. The Oppo A6c appears to be a rebranded version of the Oppo A6x 4G, which debuted in select global markets in December 2025.
With a massive 6,500mAh battery, a smooth 120Hz display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, the Oppo A6c is aimed squarely at entry-level and budget-conscious buyers.
Oppo A6c Price and Availability
In China, the Oppo A6c is priced at CNY 799, which roughly converts to ₹9,300. The smartphone is available in a single configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The device can be purchased through Oppo’s official online store and is offered in two colour options: Orchid Purple and Olive Green. At the moment, Oppo has not confirmed whether the A6c will be launched in other markets, including India.
Display and Design
The Oppo A6c features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels. One of the highlights of the phone is its 120Hz refresh rate, which is still relatively uncommon in the budget segment. The screen also supports up to a 240Hz touch sampling rate, helping improve responsiveness during scrolling and gaming.
In terms of colour reproduction, the display covers the full sRGB colour gamut in Natural mode and up to 85 percent DCI-P3 in Vivid mode. Brightness levels go up to 800 nits typically, with a peak brightness of 1125 nits, making the screen usable even under bright outdoor conditions.

Under the hood, the Oppo A6c is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 SoC, paired with the Adreno 610 GPU. This chipset is designed for reliable everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, video streaming, and light gaming.
The phone comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which should ensure smoother app performance and faster data access compared to older eMMC-based storage.
On the software side, the Oppo A6c ships with Android 15-based ColorOS 15, offering the latest Android features along with Oppo’s custom UI enhancements.

For photography, the Oppo A6c keeps things simple. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. The camera supports up to 10x digital zoom and can record videos at 1080p at 30fps.
On the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture, also capable of recording Full HD videos at 30fps. While the camera setup is modest, it is suitable for casual photography, video calls, and social media use.

One of the biggest selling points of the Oppo A6c is its 6,500mAh battery, which should easily last more than a full day, even with heavy usage. This makes the phone particularly appealing to users who value endurance over fast charging.
However, the handset does not support fast charging, which means longer charging times compared to rivals offering quick-charge solutions.

The Oppo A6c offers standard connectivity options, including dual Nano-SIM 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, and a USB Type-C port It carries an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and light water splashes.
The phone measures 166.61 × 78.51 × 8.61mm and weighs around 210 grams, giving it a solid in-hand feel.
