The X440 T was introduced by Harley Davidson to the Indian market for ₹2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). Delivery is planned for January 2026; reservations are not currently accepted.
This is the second product that has emerged from the collaboration between Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson, which was first announced two years ago. With a few minor cosmetic adjustments, it is the same as the X440 that is now available for purchase in India.
Cosmetic changes to the Harley-Davidson X440 T
The back section of the motorcycle is where the X440 T’s main modifications are found. The seat is now incorporated with a longer tail cowl. In addition, the seat is now longer. The pillion should have more room to roam around and settle down as a result.
Vibrant Black, Pearl White, Pearl Blue, and Pearl Red are the four new colors available. Both the side panels and the fuel tank get new graphics. The X440’s exhaust system is same, but it now has a new heat shield. Mechanically, there are no changes to the Harley-Davidson X440 T. It still has the same 440 cc, single-cylinder, air-oil-cooled engine with a maximum power output of 27 horsepower and a maximum torque of 38 Nm. There is a six-speed gearbox on duty.

The Harley-Davidson X440T comes equipped with a well-balanced combination of tyres, suspension, and braking hardware that enhances both performance and rider confidence. Starting with the tyres, the motorcycle uses MRF Zapper Hyke units, featuring a 100/90–18 tubeless tyre at the front and a 140/70–17 tubeless tyre at the rear. This setup ensures a strong grip on varied road surfaces while minimizing the risk of punctures. The tyres are mounted on stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels, with an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear, offering durability and a premium look. The larger front wheel aids stability, while the slightly smaller rear wheel contributes to agile handling.
Suspension duties are handled by KYB components, which are known for their reliability and performance. At the front, the bike features 43 mm upside-down forks with 130 mm of travel. This design not only improves rigidity but also enhances cornering stability and shock absorption, making the ride smoother over uneven terrain. At the rear, gas-charged twin shock absorbers provide consistent damping. With 7-step preload adjustability, riders can fine-tune the suspension to suit different loads, riding styles, or road conditions, ensuring comfort whether riding solo or with a pillion.
Braking performance is equally impressive, with a 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear. This dual-disc setup delivers strong and reliable stopping power, crucial for safety in both urban traffic and highway cruising. The larger front disc ensures effective braking during high-speed rides, while the rear disc adds stability and control. Together, the tyres, suspension, and brakes create a motorcycle that balances style, comfort, and safety, making the X440T a versatile option for riders seeking both everyday usability and long-distance touring capability.
